Peer Leader Award
The Peer Leader Award is open to ALL graduating Manasquan High School Seniors.
This award will be gifted to (1) model Senior who demonstrates excellence in setting an example for both their peers as well as the MHS community; a young adult who is intolerant of intolerance and proactive about inclusion in their daily life.
The student will have a record of active involvement in advocating for and contributing to acceptance of all trans and queer+ communities—especially those of folks who are black, brown, Muslim, migrants, indigenous, and/or disabled.
Requirements
To be eligible for the Peer Leader Award, applicants must be a graduating Manasquan High School Senior. The student will have a record of active involvement in advocating for and contributing to acceptance of all trans and queer+ communities—especially those of folks who are black, brown, Muslim, migrants, indigenous, and/or disabled.
Award: Varies; $500 per year minimum. Scholarship is split between two semesters.

Recipients must show documented leadership, support or involvement in organizations, activities or issues that promote awareness and acceptance of all trans and queer+ communities—especially those of folks who are black, brown, Muslim, migrants, indigenous, and/or disabled. In addition to this documentation, students must provide no less than (3) references.
